Iata ca a sosit momentul pentru postarea Polish Days a lunii aprilie ce a avut ca tema cele 7 pacate de moarte:dorinta, pofta, lacomia, lenea, mania,invidia,trufia.
It is time for a new Polish Days post, the April one. This month theme was " 7 deadly sins:Lust, Gluttony, Greed, Sloth, Wrath, Envy, Pride".
Trebuie sa recunosc a fost o tema care mi-a dat multe batai de cap.M-am tot gandit cum as putea sa reprezint aceasta tema si ce pacat sa aleg.
I must admit this month theme gave me a lot of headaches. I've been thinking how I could represent this theme and what sin should I choose.
Intr-un final m-am oprit asupra dorintei,iar cel mai reprezentativ element pentru acest pacat,din punctul meu de vedere, este dantela.
Finally I chose lust and, in my opinion, the most representative element for this sin is lace.
Am incercat pentru prima oara sa creez o manichiura cu dantela adevarata.
Am asociat unghiile rosii (dorinta, pasiune) cu dantela alba (inocenta) sperand sa creez un efect cat mai puternic.
For the first time I tried to make a manicure with real lace.
I've associated red nails (desire,passion) with white lace (innocence) hopping to create a strong effect.
Unfortunately the effect wasn't to strong.Now I realize I've made some mistakes: I've applied the lace straight on the red nail polish instead of applying it over a top coat in order to avoid the red color to impregnate on the white lace. On the ring finger I've applied top coat over the lace ruining the look of it.
Data viitoare voi tine cont de aceasta experienta, evitand greselile de mai sus.
Next time I will avoid the mistakes made today and hopefully the manicure will be awesome.
